Bonteuwel youth have honoured the legacy and sacrifice of anti Apartheid activist, Ashley Kriel.

Learners at Bonteheuwel Secondary School planned the event guided by the Cape Cultural Collective.

Today’s event is part of several programmes in the lead up to Youth Day (June 16).

The day marks the sacrifice of youth that opposed an oppressive education system.
