Bo-Kaap residents don’t seem too convinced by the promises political parties are making to improve the culturally rich community.

Being a traditionally DA stronghold, the governing party promises to improve the lives of all residents.

However, the DA also stands accused of charging residents exorbitant amounts for rates and basic services because of its prime location, as well as wanting to gentrify the area.
