CAPE TOWN – On the sacred Day of Ashura (10th Muharram), Radio 786 — in partnership with Muslims for Humanity and a network of NGOs — helped provide warm meals to thousands across the Western Cape.

From Hanover Park to Makhaza, Beacon Valley to Broadlands in the Strand, this annual initiative, now in its 4th year, forms part of Radio 786’s Shifaa Project, serving humanity with dignity and compassion.
