An alleged gangster has been murdered in a drive-by shooting in Tafelsig.

According to the Mitchells Plain Community Policing Forum chairperson, Norman Jantjies it’s unclear if yesterday’s incident is linked to the double murder in Westridge.

Police are investigating a double murder and attempted murder after two men were shot and killed while sitting at a house in Oakland Close.

Two people, including a toddler, were injured in the shooting. Jantjies has called on authorities to take stronger action in the fight against crime.
