Annually, on December 1st, people across the globe stand together in support for those living with HIV and in remembrance of those who have died from AIDS-related illnesses. The theme for 2020 is Global solidarity, shared responsibility.

This day serves as a reminder that HIV has not miraculously vanished, and there is still a critical need for  increased funding and awareness to end  discrimination and  improve the quality of life of those living with HIV.
