Battered yet Resilient Palestinians Mark the Eid of Sacrifice

The people of Gaza are observing Eid al-Adha amid the ongoing “Israeli” genocide and inhumane siege. This is the third Eid of Sacrifice under genocide.
The Popular Resistance Committees say, despite the depth of the pain, wounds, tragedy, and the convoys of great martyrs among the leaders, soldiers, civilians, and innocent women and children, there is no place on the land of proud Gaza except for patience, steadfastness, sacrifice, defiance and firm faith in Allah’s constant promise of victory for His believing, steadfast fighters and the defeat of the invading aggressors.

Yemen’s Ansarallah movement has appealed to Muslims to strengthen their Islamic brotherhood and cooperation, noting that this is essential in confronting the Israeli enemy as it targets the West Asia region.

In his Eid al‑Adha message, the Ansarallah leader, Sayyed Abdul‑Malik al‑Houthi, reminded Muslims that the Palestinian cause is a deep wound on the body of the Islamic nation. He warned that neglecting the Palestinian people and the blessed Al‑Aqsa Mosque will embolden the Israeli settler‑colonial entity to expand its aggression across the region.

Al‑Houthi called on the Islamic nation to learn from the steadfastness of the Islamic Republic of Iran in facing the U.S. “Israeli” aggression. Drawing lessons from the Hajj, Al‑Houthi pointed out that the rituals, including the symbolic stoning of the devil, represent a clear dissociation from arrogant tyrants, including the Israeli entity and its supporters.

Eid al‑Adha, also known as the “Festival of Sacrifice,” honours the unwavering faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH), who was willing to sacrifice his son as an act of submission to Allah or God’s command, before Allah intervened and provided a ram instead.
