Can you get fired for refusing to take a jab of the Covid-19 vaccine? The Labour Department had recently updated its guidelines for dealing with the virus in the workplace that now requires companies to declare whether they plan to make vaccinations compulsory. However, at the National Economic Development and Labour Council (Nedlac), both government and the private sector agreed that the employee’s refusal to take the jab of the vaccine should not justify dismissal.
