Five men have been killed in Gugulethu. Police found their bodies with gunshot wounds in two vehicles in Fenqe Street in KTC.

Police spokesperson, Brigadier Novela Potelwa says reports at their disposal indicate that the victims were sitting inside the vehicles when a third vehicle with armed men emerged and opened fire.

The deceased are between the ages of 46 and 52. However, police have yet to identify them.

The motive for the mass shooting is still unclear at this stage.

No arrests have yet been made.

Organised crime detectives are investigating the case.
