Why is it important to keep on training throughout winter?

With cold winters, we tend to not want to get up and exercise, but what best way to stay warm and maintain an active lifestyle, to take a short stroll, have a home workout routine or a quick run in your driveway.

So how do we motivate ourselves to train on rainy days and do we stop exercising when feeling sick?
