Iranian academic and commentator, Professor Mohammad Marandi says that the Islamic Republic may expand the war, adding that it will be “a much more decisive war than last time” and “a much more destructive” one.
This as US President Donald Trump’s earlier claims that America will wipe out the Iranian civilization, amounts to a threat of genocide. Marandi says that this threat justifies a harsher response from Iran. He also pointed to the US forging ahead with its counter-productive tactics, which is pushing the world closer “to an enormous economic crisis,” that has been characterized by an unprecedented energy, fertilizer, and helium crisis that is getting worse.
