The Umrah or lesser Hajj pilgrimage is undertaken by Muslims throughout the year. It encompasses visiting the Holy Haram (Sanctuary) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia to engage in acts of devotion. Unlike the Hajj, which is prescribed to be performed at least once in an individual’s lifetime, the Umrah offers a more relaxed opportunity to reflect.
