Hanover Park remains in the grips of deadly violence.

At least two people have been killed in separate attacks.

In the first incident a 33-year-old man was shot and wounded. He later died in hospital. In Silica Walk the body of a 23-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head.

Philippi police are investigating the murders as well as whether they are linked to the urban gang warfare on the Cape Flats.
