Two arrested in KZN mass shooting

Police in Pietermaritzburg have arrested two suspects linked to the mass murder of a family in KwaZulu-Natal.

Police Minister Bheki Cele visited the scene of the shooting this morning.

He says that they noted a cleansing ceremony taking place near the victims’ home, and saw four men standing outside.

The suspects started shooting at the officers.

One was subsequently killed, one injured, and the other arrested.

One suspect managed to escape.

Ten members of a family were killed in the Imbali township.
