There has been a mass shooting in Phola Park in Mfuleni. Three men were gunned down and a fourth was wounded. Police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa says according to reports seven men were inside a shack in Intambane Street when the yet-to-be identified gunmen entered and started shooting. Three escaped without injury.

The motive for the attack is still unclear at this stage. Potelwa says detectives from the serious violent crime division are pursuing several leads as part of their investigation.
