The South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (Saphra) has cautioned the public against so-called Covid-19 miracle cures. The regulatory authority identified Ivermectin as one of these so-called cures. According to Saphra, Ivermectin has not been approved for medical use and there is no sound clinical evidence supporting its use in the fight against the coronavirus.
