The teenager accused of killing his 75-year-old grandmother at her home in Manenberg is set to make his second court appearance next month. Ruwayda Omar’s body was found under a pile of clothes in her bedroom on Sunday. Police say she had multiple stab wounds to the upper body. Speaking to newspaper, the Daily Voice the 15-year-old’s father described him as a quiet boy adding that there appears to be more to this incident.

The National Prosecuting Authority says the case is expected to be back in court on December 23rd for a bail application.
