The Western Cape High Court says that there is no doubt that Mohydien Pangaker is guilty of murdering Tazne van Wyk.

The court found that Pangaker had also kidnapped and brutally raped the eight-year-old in February 2020.

He was found in Cradock, ten days after she was reported missing. Pangaker had also led police to the stormwater drain where he had hidden her body in Worcester.

He had violated his prior parole conditions when he had killed van Wyk, and had skipped court appearances for the assault of his daughter.

Pangaker was found guilty of several charges of rape levelled against him. He is due back in court on January 16th.
