Taxi Peace Deal Isn’t Under Threat – CATA

Questions have been raised on whether warring taxi associations CATA and Codeta’s peace deal is under threat.

It comes following the murder of three taxi operators at Joe Slovo Taxi Rank in Milnerton on Wednesday. The operators were gunned down also injuring a fourth person.

CATA confirmed that the deceased operators belonged to the organisation.

However, the CATA’S Mandla Hermanus insists that the peace deal signed weeks back is not under threat. Hermanus adds that CATA is doing everything in its power to honour the peace deal.
