A monster who cannot be tolerated in a civilised community. That’s how the senior state prosecutor, Advocate Lenro Badenhorst described Moehydien Pangaker who kidnapped, raped, murdered, and desecration the body of eight-year-old Tazne van Wyk.

Arguing for the aggravation of sentence in the Cape High Court, Badenhorst says Pangaker should be sentenced to at least nine life terms for his heinous crimes against children.

The court convicted the notorious criminal on 21 charges which include the rape of children, sexual assault and sexual exploitation of children amongst others.
