At least two demonstrations will be taking place in Brackenfell this week. Yesterday morning, the PAC held a demonstration at the local train station, saying that the scenes exhibited last week in the area, are reminiscent of apartheid.

Meanwhile the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will descend on the area on Friday morning.
Following violent clashes between party supporters and some residents last week, saw Brackenfell residents beating protesting EFF members. This clash has however highlighted the experience of entrenched racism at Brackenfell High School.
