April marks freedom month, and during this time the anti-Apartheid stalwarts contribution to fighting for democracy and ending the oppressive regime gets highlighted. However, families of slain freedom fighters that weren’t as popular or on the front lines feel that the government, and South Africans should honour their loved ones’ sacrifice for the sake of us today, living in a free South Africa. Is enough homepage being paid to anti-Apartheid activists who weren’t on the front lines as opposed to others?
