Covid-19 vaccines – who will get it and who won’t? The novel virus has turned life upside down and left scientists scrambling to understand it in order for nations to combat it, and hopefully a potential cure.

To date, four potential vaccines have been developed and undergone clinical trials. One of the four potential vaccines and Oxford developed AstraZeneca boasting the highest efficacy rate has left South African virologists hopeful that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
