The Islamic Jihad movement has vowed to keep up its retaliatory strikes against the occupied territories until the Israeli regime stops its attack on Gaza Strip. As of midnight, the death toll in the besieged enclave reached 30, with 93 Palestinians injured. At least five of Islamic Jihad’s commanders have been martyred in the attacks. In response to the unprovoked aggression, Al Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad’s armed wing, fired hundreds of rockets towards the occupied territories, killing one Israeli and injuring several others. Islamic Jihad spokesperson, Anwar Abu Taha, has asserted that they remain determined to defend their people and land against the Israeli regime. He also said that their missiles fired from Gaza serve as a strong message to the Israeli enemy that the Brigades and the resistance have many surprises in store, which can compel the regime to stop its continuous brutality.
