Zubeida Edries, who formed part of Radio 786’s first presenters and producers has passed away.

Zubeida or Aunty Zubeida as she was fondly known on the Tiny Tot Time programme featured on Radio 786’s morning broadcasts during its early broadcasts in the 1990’s. Her warm and bubbly on-air personality drew in young and old, as she brought Islamic, child-friendly programmes to Radio 786’s listeners. She also helped guide and train many people who would follow in her footsteps as Radio 786 grew in its content and reach.
