Quds Day: Palestine – where olives feed the resistance

From the fruits that are used for pickling or pressed into oil, to the pips that are dried and used to make prayer beads (for Christians and Muslims), olive trees just keep on giving.

For Palestinians, these trees are a source of pride and culture. But these life-giving trees are also the target of Israeli aggression. The Zionist regime often bulldozes olive orchards that have been in existence for decades to make way for illegal settlements.
