Policing union, Popcru has had enough of government ignoring their members demands related budget constraints, wages and police killings.

The union is marching on the Union Buildings in Pretoria where they are handing over a memorandum of demands addressing both Treasury and the Presidency.

They want critical vacancies in the police service to be filled, budget cuts to be stopped and danger allowances to be increased.

Popcru which represents more than 160,000 workers, says the wide-ranging issues has left workers despondent. It recently rejected a 3% wage increase at the Public Service Coordinating Barging Council.
