The City Hall in Cape Town has been transformed for the hosting of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of the Nation address, which marks the opening of Parliament. The parliament buildings were gutted in a fire at the beginning of the year, necessitating the requirement for an alternative venue. Radio 786 senior reporter, Gadija Davids captured the scenes at the parade and surrounding the City Hall buildings.
