South Africa is marking Sharpeville Day. It commemorates a moment in this country’s history, where ordinary citizens stood up against an oppressive law, which required black South Africans to carry a “pass”.

This document was used by the Apartheid regime to further restrict the movement and rights of black people. Its 64 years since then, and the Zionist occupation has perfected the armed enforcement of the Apartheid regime’s pass laws.

Every aspect of Palestinian life is restricted; just going to a store to buy groceries could lead to an attack or abduction, without your family being notified of your well-being.
