Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

  • 125 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 300ml milk
  • 5 ml vanilla essence
  • 5 ml cooking oil
METHOD

Combine all the above-mentioned ingredients together to form a smooth batter.

Allow the batter to rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.

Heat up a non-stick pan to high heat.

Just before the pan starts to smoke brush it with a little oil and pour a portion of the batter into the pan. Then swirl to create an even pancake and cook until it’s done. Once all the pancakes are cooked (roughly 5-6 pancakes) sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve and enjoy.

Other serving suggestions would be ice cream, fresh cream, sauces and syrups, berries or even something Savoury.
