The Palestinian resistance has fired a volley of retaliatory rockets against the Israeli enemy.

Warning sirens blared across the Israeli occupied territories, sending the colonial settlers fleeing to their bunkers. There are reports of casualties as well as material damage. Red alert warnings were activated in Tel Aviv, located some 70km north of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The resistance says that these rockets are in response to the ongoing Israeli crimes against the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinians.

Hamas says more than 5,000 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel in the first 20 minutes of the operation, “Al Aqsa Flood”.

The Zionist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war minister Yoav Gallant are expected to meet officials over this unfolding situation.

Gallant has declared an emergency situation within a range of 80km from Gaza. It allows the occupation military to restrict gatherings and close off areas. The restricted region includes Tel Aviv and Beersheba.

On Friday the Zionist forces attacked hundreds of Palestinians attending the funeral of a young Palestinian man killed at the hands of the Israelis in the West Bank. More than 50 mourners were injured.

Over 200 Palestinians have been killed this year in the occupied territories and Gaza. Majority of them were martyred in the West Bank.
