The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine has vowed that the Israeli colonial settlers’ attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque will not go unpunished.

In a statement the PFLP called for a united Palestinian response to the so-called flag march which saw settlers desecrate the noble sanctuary.

The attack triggered confrontations between worshippers at Al Aqsa and the Zionist forces who protected the settlers.

More than 60 Palestinians were wounded as they confronted the so-called flag march.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society people were attacked with rubber coated steel bullets and teargas bombs.

The Zionist forces also kidnapped at least 30 Palestinians as they sought crackdown on protests denouncing this latest Israeli provocation and desecration. During the protest people waved the Palestinian flag even taking one to the sky with a drone which angered the Zionist settlers who chanted racists slogans including “Death to Arabs” and “May your village burn down”.
