South Africa hosts Namibian President Hage Geingob at the Union Buildings.

This is the first state visit by a Namibian president in over a decade.

However, his presence in Pretoria comes as mystery still hangs over Namibia’s role in nabbing the suspects linked to the robbery at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala game farm last year.

A Namibian is alleged to have stolen millions of dollars from the farm, before fleeing to his native country.

Meanwhile, Justice Minister Ronald Lamola says that the South African government is continuing to cooperate with Namibian authorities over the Phala Phala farm burglary.
