There was some celebration last week, perhaps wrongly placed, when Africa4Palestine announced that the MJC Halal Trust had taken a policy decision not to certify Israeli products, or companies that support the regime. However, there is still no clarity on what this would actually mean. Radio 786 has tried repeatedly to get this clarity from the MJC, and the only response was a copy of the Africa4Palestine statement. Has anyone seen the halal certification removed from McDonalds since this decision was announced?
