The ANC local government elections manifesto outlines the governing party’s vision for improving municipalities, creating jobs, strengthening service delivery and rebuilding public trust in local government.
This morning, we’ll unpack the key promises contained in the ANC’s 2026 Local Government Manifesto and what they could mean for communities across South Africa.
The manifesto places a strong focus on reliable water and electricity services, economic development, safer communities, fighting corruption and greater accountability from councillors and municipalities.
We’re joined by the ANC’s Ward 58 and PR Candidate, Faiez Jacobs
