The Matric Mathematics Paper 2 has been leaked. The Department of Basic Education says they are aware of the leak. The paper was made available hours before candidates were meant to write their exams.

Origins of the leak are not clear, but candidates who had access to the paper are located in Limpopo and Gauteng. The department is investigating the leakage and will make use of all mechanisms to identify the learners that could have had access to the paper. An investigating team is looking into the leakage.
