Anti-crime activists are calling for stronger action as another person linked to a business has been kidnapped in South Africa.

A 28-year-old man was abducted outside a hardware store in Benoni.

The incident was caught on CCTV cameras, which showed the man getting out of his vehicle and being forced into a bakkie parked next to him.

A man dressed as a car guard is also seen getting into the abductees’ vehicle as it pulls away.

The 28-year-old is believed to be the son of a hardware store owner.

This incident comes as the four Moti brothers have been reunited with their family after they were kidnapped while on their way to school three weeks ago.

Anti-crime activist, Yusuf Abramjee says that there are dangerous and highly-skilled organised kidnapping gangs at work in South Africa.

He also says that there may be smaller gangs attempting similar operations.

Abramjee estimates that the main motive behind these kidnappings is ransom.
