Compounded medicine containing ivermectin can be sold and prescribed to South Africans. This is the ruling of the North Gauteng High Court, following an agreement between the health regulator SAHPRA and various parties fighting for the use of Ivermectin. The court ruled that a registered pharmacist or medical practitioner might compound and sell medicine that contains Ivermectin as an active ingredient.
