The Israeli occupation regime has yet again desecrated the holy al-Aqsa Mosque in Al Quds.

Zionist forces attacked worshippers shortly after the Fajr prayers. They fired rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas and stun grenades in the courtyard and in the main Qibli prayer hall.

Dozens of people are said to have been injured amid reports that Israeli forces denied medics access. According to Palestine’s Red Crescent about 60 people had to be evacuated and transferred to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Since the start of Ramadaan, Apartheid Israel has intensified its assault on Palestinians, prompting Palestinians to step up their retaliatory operations. It also comes just a day after the Palestinian resistance forces in Gaza warned Israel about its ongoing crimes in the West Bank and Al Quds. It called on people to come out in their numbers for Friday prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque. It also called on the Palestinian resistance to stay vigilant and be prepared to defend the noble sanctuary.
