The Israeli occupation regime has again attacked Syria. The Zionist entity fired several surface-to-surface missiles at the outskirts of the southwestern city of Quneitra near the occupied Golan Heights.

According to Syrian media there has been some material damage. However there were no immediate reports of casualties.

The latest act of aggression comes as Zionist Israel is staging war games which coincides with the Nakba or catastrophe. The massacre and expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homeland by the Israel settler colonial entity. It also comes a year after its defeat at the hands of the Palestinian resistance in which new rules of engagement were set with Al Quds and Al Aqsa as the red lines.

Now both the Palestinian and and Lebanese resistance movements have warned the Israeli occupation entity that it will not hesitate to respond to any folly during these war games. Hamas has also made it clear that the assassination of any resistance leader will open the gates of hell for the Zionists. There have been calls by Israelis for Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar to be assassinated. The occupation media, Channel 13 even held a poll on whether Sinwar should be assassinated.
