Head of Hamas’s Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh has slammed the Israeli entity for refusing to make progress in the Gaza ceasefire talks.
Haniyeh blamed Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu for the current deadlock, saying their amendments on the proposal introduced by mediators Qatar and Egypt, have “put the negotiations at an impasse”.
Haniyeh goes on to further state that Hamas recently announced its agreement to the proposal presented by their brothers in Qatar and Egypt, which was known to the American administration. However, the Zionist entity responded to the proposal by occupying and controlling the Rafah crossing and starting aggression in the Rafah area.
Haniyeh has also rejected any post-war settlement in Gaza that excludes the group.
