Thousands of masked-up pilgrims gathered on Mount Arafat a sacred site that gets visited by pilgrims while on hajj are praying for an end to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mount Arafat, Mina, and Muzdalifa are just a few kilometers east of Mecca. Only 60 000 fully vaccinated people in Saudi Arabia were selected to partake in the hajj.

Among those being Palestinians and Indians staying in Mecca. Pilgrims say they are praying for racism and discrimination to come to an end so that people can instead show more love to people in need.
