Former Bosasa COO, Angelo Agrizzi has been denied bail. The State had argued that Agrizzie had failed to disclose his liquid assets to the Commercial Crimes Court in Johannesburg.

It is reportedly valued at R8 million, Agrizzi’s offshore accounts amount to R24 million, and vehicles worth R2 million. It used this in support of its claim that Agrizzi is a flight risk. He is a co-accused in the R800 000 fraud and corruption case against former ANC MP, Vincent Smith.

Meanwhile, Agrizzi’s representative had stunned the courtroom earlier after he suggested that the company’s former CEO, Gavin Watson, may have possibly faked his death in August 2019. However, Watson’s lawyers have affirmed his death.
