Dr. Bassel Abuwarda, a Palestinian medic who is on his #PalestineLeads tour in South Africa, to showcase the dignity and courage of the Palestinian people in the face of an apartheid occupation that has tragically escalated to genocide.

He worked at Shifa Hospital alongside Dr. Mads Gilbert during the 2014 war, treated casualties, and co-founded the Save Gaza Project, instrumental in rebuilding the Shams al Amal School.
