The DA is adamant that it will get the beaches along the Garden Route reopened. The main opposition will be heading to the Cape Town High Court today to argue why the beaches should be reopened. Speaking during his last address, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that beaches along the Garden Route will be closed until January 3rd in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19. The DA argues that people are at lower risk of contracting the virus when complying with social distancing regulations in open spaces.
