INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ onion finely chopped
- ¼ red pepper cubed
- 1 punnet brown mushrooms sliced
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 heaped tsp Sprinkles and Spice Pepper Roast or Salt and Pepper to taste
- 300g spinach finely chopped
- 500ml fresh cream
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
- 1 tsp Sprinkles and Spice Orange Pepper
METHOD:
1.Braise the onion and red pepper in butter until the onion is slightly brown.
2.Add in the mushrooms and stir fry for 2 minutes.
3.Add in the garlic, spices and spinach and cook for 3 minutes.
4.Add in the cream and bring to a boil.
5.Simmer on a low heat for 5 minutes until it begins to thicken and add in the cornflour mixed with cold water.
6.Stir until it thickens.
7.Enjoy with creamy mash, steak or as a side with your favourite dish.
