Cop Who Shot & Killed Nathaniel Julies Was Threatened By Her Colleague

The Gauteng High Court has heard that the police officer accused of firing the fatal shot at Nathaniel Julies was threatened should she come clean and admit the actual events that transpired that day.

Magistrate Theresa Swart who had taken Constable Caylene Whiteboy’s confession after the shooting made the revelation. In the confession, Whiteboy says that her colleague, Sergeant Simon Scorpion Ndyalvane threatened to injure her and her family.

Swart explains that Whiteboy made the confession in her office and agreed that her statement would be used against her during her trial.

On August 26th, 2020, 16-year-old Nathaniel Julies was shot and killed while on his way to a local shop to buy biscuits.
