Health care workers assist a COVID-19 patient in Spain. Some evidence from Europe and China suggests an overzealous immune response may be contributing to the severe illness in some patients.

This isn’t the first time the Western Cape Health Department has been faced with complaints over medical staff’s treatment towards covid-19 patients. This, as Radio 786 received complaints that nurses are ill treating patients at hospitals and covid-19 facilities.

Chief of Operations at the provincial Health Department Dr Saadiq Kariem says there is no excuse for ill-behaviour from frontline workers and has urged the public to report such incidents to the department…
