Car explosion kills veteran Russian analyst’s daughter

The daughter of a veteran Russian political commentator and ally of President Vladimir Putin has died after the car she was driving in exploded.

Alexander Dugin’s daughter, Darya and the driver were both killed in the blast.

The incident occurred on a highway roughly 20 kilometers west of Moscow.

According to eyewitnesses, the explosion rocked the vehicle in the middle of the road, and the car engulfed into flames crashing into a fence.

Darya’s body was burnt beyond recognition.

Preliminary reports suggest that a home-made explosive device may have been planted inside the vehicle.
