Authorities are reluctant to link the spate of mass of shootings rocking certain areas in Cape Town.

Policing expert, Eldred de Klerk says that while gangs are linked to these incidents, it’s still too early to determine whether these are being driven by the same motives.

He was speaking to Radio 786 as the Gugulethu community has been witness to the shooting of eight people.

Meanwhile, in Seawinds, a man was shot and killed in his car and in Samora Machel three people were gunned down.
