Cabbage and green bean Bredie/Stew

1kg meaty beef pieces (with bone for extra flavor)
4 tablespoons butter
2 large onions finely chopped.
1 dried red chilli
1 tablespoon garlic and ginger
3 all spice
2 tablespoons sugar
2-3 tablespoons Sprinkles Pepper Roast Spice or
1-2 tablespoons coarse black and white pepper (or to taste)
1 tablespoon bbq spice
5 potatoes cut in half
1 large, grated tomatoes
2 tablespoons Mrs balls chutney
500g cut green beans
1 medium head cabbage
Salt to taste

Chop your cabbage and green beans to your preferred size.
Braise the onions in butter until golden brown.
Add the meat, sugar and spices and braise on a medium heat for 15 minutes (do not add water) cover and cook on a low heat until meat has browned, and the spices starts sticking to the base of the pot. Cover the meat with boiling water and cook on a medium heat, covered for 30 minutes.
Add in the potatoes, tomatoes, chutney, green beans, and salt to taste and cook for 10 minutes.
Add in the cabbage, 1 cup of water, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the potato is soft.
Serve with white rice.
